Sometimes, life seems hard - perhaps because of bereavement, illness, loneliness, job loss, relationship problems, or any number of other things - and it can feel like we're stuck in a hopeless situation that we can do nothing about. But the truth is ... we're not!
You see, no matter what situation we're in, there is a God who loves us more than we can ever imagine, a caring God who invites us to pray to Him - He wants us to talk to Him about the problems and issues that are causing us so much worry, anxiety and pain, and He wants us to put our trust in Him.
At Barnstaple Baptist Church, we believe that prayer works and, recently, we have seen God answer prayers in wonderful and surprising ways. So, we would certainly encourage you to pray to God about your own circumstances, but we would also like to offer to pray for you and your loved ones during our regular prayer meetings.
