BARNSTAPLE BAPTIST CHURCH - What's On
BARNSTAPLE BAPTIST CHURCH - A church for people of all ages, all abilities and all nations
Please note: our next Messy Church is at the church on Saturday February 11th,
9.30-11.30 a.m.

The next Cafe Culture Acoustic Evening will be on January 20th 2011 at The Boston Tea Party - see poster on left for details.

Cafe Culture is a group of Christians (including David, our Minister) from several churches in the Barnstaple area who first came together in 2009 with a desire to promote local art and culture, to provide quality entertainment, and to offer an accessible introduction to Christian spirituality to those who might be unfamiliar with it.

In addition to local Christian musicians, several Christian visual artists have participated as artists-in-residence and we recently enjoyed the slam poetry of Harry Baker.  Coming up next time is the beatboxing, rapping vicar, Gavin Tyte, and Bethan Funning.  For more information email David via the 'Contact Us' page.

Space (Barnstaple) is a chance to discuss anything to do with the Christian faith with our Minister and another member of the Cafe Culture team.  No question is out of bounds!

Our next meeting will be during the Acoustic Evening on Friday January 20th (see above).
Services ...

Our weekly Sunday services are at 10.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. in the church building in Boutport St.

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday evening and third Sunday morning of the month and we invite all who know and love the Lord Jesus to share in the bread and (non-alcoholic) wine.

The first Sunday morning of the month is an all-age, Girls' Brigade parade service, which is slightly shorter than other services and is especially appropriate for families.

There is a church lunch after the first Sunday morning service of the month and all are invited to join us.

During the first half of our services, the focus is upon making everything really accessible to our younger worshippers who then spend the second half of the service in their own groups.
